I am Kathleen Ehlers. I am Ms. Kat to the students. I have been teaching for 17+
years. I have an associate’s degree in Child Development, I reside in Marinette with
my husband, Jonathan, and two boys, Elijah and Ezekiel. I am the Director and Lead
Teacher at Faith Lutheran Preschool.
We are excited to announce that we will be offering both half-day and full-day
options starting the 26-27 school year. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
the 4-year-olds will have school. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the 3-year-olds will
have school. The half-day hours are 8:10am-12pm and the full-day hours are
8:10am-3pm for all school day options. Doors open Monday-Friday at 7:55am.
It is a great start to their education years. I provide a play-based curriculum for the
children to learn and explore through play. We have outside time every day the
weather allows. The children participate in small group activities daily. During small
group we do activities that teach the children basic skills they will use throughout
their school years. We cut, use glue sticks, squeeze glue, tracing, coloring, writing,
and many more things.
Faith Lutheran Preschool is a tuition-based preschool. We work to keep the tuition
at a lower rate. Scholarships for tuition are available. It is a smaller school which
gives me more opportunities to work with the children on a one-on-one basis. So, if
a child is struggling, I am available to help right away. Space is limited so I
recommend enrolling your child for school as soon as you know you want them to
